Rear-Admiral (retired) Henry Compton Aitchison, (7 January, 1844 – September, 1901) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Aitchison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 7 March, 1867.
Aitchison was promoted to the rank of Commander on 2 November, 1872.
Aitchison was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1880.
Retired at his own request on 28 June, 1889.
Aitchison was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 11 March, 1896.
