Lieutenant-Commander William Brabazon Robert Morrison, (23 August, 1910 – 23 January, 1944) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Morrison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 June, 1934.[1]

World War II

Morrison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 June, 1942.[2]

Morrison died in command of the destroyer Janus when she was lost to a hit by a glide bomb off Anzio.[3]
