H.M. T.B. 93 was one of ten first-class torpedo boats of the 140 Footer class.

Service

At the time of her completion, she was the only torpedo-boat fitted with twin screws. At her trials on 14 December 1893, her V.T.E. engines delivered 23.846 knots at 225 psi. at 472 rpm. Over three hours, she made 23.5 knots at 467 rpm.[4]

She was perhaps among the first in her class delivered, as she alone participated in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1894. In 1895, she was one of six of her class sent to Gibraltar where they joined five other first-class torpedo boats.[5]
