H.M.S. Olympus was one of six Odin Class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Olympus was prepared for her commissioning by Lieutenant (E) J. P. W. Furse, appointed to her 14 November, 1928. He may also have commissioned her[3] when she did so at the Clyde on 25 September, 1929 for service with the Third Submarine Flotilla on the China Station.[4]
