Lieutenant Edward Secretan, (25 January, 1876 – 2 March, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Secretan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1899.[1]
In 1908 while in command of Vigilant, Secretan was incurred the severe displeasure of the Admiralty for the tone and manner of rendering a report called for by Commander Cardale. He was to be relieved of command and appointed to a ship for watchkeeping duties.[2]
Secretan decided that this effectively ended his career, and he retired at his own request on 30 October, 1908.[3]
Secretan died in Stuttgart just before the war.[4]
