U.S.S. Paul Jones was one of three Paul Jones class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.

Service

Paul Jones was commissioned on 19 July, 1902.

In early 1905, she and Perry were attached to the Pacific Squadron.[7]

In 1906, she and Preble were added to the newly formed Fourth Torpedo Flotilla, serving with the Pacific Squadron.[8]
