Vice-Admiral Ernest Wigram, C.M.G., D.S.O., Royal Navy, Retired (16 April, 1877 – 29 October, 1944) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
Wigram was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1899.[1]
Great War
Wigram was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1915.[2]
Wigram was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to the King on 7 July, 1926,[3] promoted to Rear-Admiral on 7 August, 1926, and was placed on the retired list on 8 August.[4]
