Victor Hilary Danckwerts ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Danckwerts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1910.[1]
On 5 August, 1912, he was appointed to Excellent to qualify for gunnery duties.[2]
On 10 November, 1917, he was appointed to Neptune to serve as gunnery officer.[3]
Danckwerts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1918.[4] On 15 September, 1920, he was appointed to the Staff College in Greenwich.[5]
Danckwerts was appointed in command of the light cruiser Caradoc in July, 1930.[6][7]
