Commander R.N.R. (retired) Leonard Ernest Fordham, R.D. (2 March, 1896 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve who passed the entrance examinations for entry to the Royal Navy in January, 1909 but I can find no record of his having served in the R.N..

Life & Career

Born in Hendon, Middlesex, Fordham entered Royal Naval College, Osborne with the January 1909 term. He wound up in the Royal Naval Reserve in September, 1914 as a Probationary Midshipman.

Fordham was appointed to the destroyer Vixen on 28 August 1918, possibly in command from some point.[1]

Fordham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 March, 1919.[2]

Fordham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 March, 1927.[3]
