H.M.S. Rosario was completed as a sloop, but was converted to a submarine depot ship before the Great War.
Service
Rosario was commissioned at Sheerness on 20 March, 1900 for service on the China Station, Commander Claud A. W. Hamilton in command.[7]
Rosario converted to a depot ship in 1910.[8]
She served with the Hong Kong Submarine Flotilla during the war, and was sold at that same city for breaking up on 11 November, 1921.[9][10]
