Instructor Captain Arthur John Parish, C.B., C.B.E., M.A., Royal Navy (5 April, 1861 – 19 January, 1942) was a Naval Instructor in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

On the occasion of King George V's coronation he was appointed an Additional Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 19 June, 1911.[1]

Parish attained the rank of Chief Naval Instructor on 9 August, 1917. In 1917 he was Deputy Superintendent of Naval Examinations at the Admiralty.

"For valuable services as Deputy Adviser on Naval Education" he was appointed a Commander of the Military Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) on 27 May, 1919.[2]
