Commander R.N.R. George Dibley, D.S.C., R.D. (28 June, 1904 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Dibley was made a probationary Midshipman R.N.R. on 1 January, 1921. He was residing at 40 Heathfield Road, Acton, London.[1]

Dibley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 January, 1931.[2]

Dibley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 January, 1939.[3]

World War II

Dibley commanded several minesweepers during the war, and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 31 December, 1943. He retired on 1 July, 1950.[4]
