Commander Charles Stuart Bell, (28 February, 1890 – 11 June, 1956) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bell was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 31 December, 1915. He was confirmed in the rank of Mate on 22 June, 1918. His service record contains no appointments prior to one to H.M.S. Vivid on that date, though an entry hints that he may have been part of a Director Firing team in Ramillies at some point.[1]
Bell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 22 July, 1920.[2]
Bell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 22 July, 1928.[3]
Bell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1934.[4] He was placed on the Retired List on 25 February, 1940.[5]
