Captain John Harington Martin ( – 17 January, 1891) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Martin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 19 May, 1870.[1]

Martin was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1883.[2]

Martin was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1890.[3]

He died at Suda of dysentery while bringing the composite screw sloop Mutine back from the China Station.[4]
