H.M.S. Rinaldo was one of six Condor Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

In May, 1906 it was ordered that three cruisers should tow the obsolete Rinaldo, Philomel and Medusa from the Firth of Forth to the Motherbank, where they were to be moored.[7]
