Commander (retired) Lancelot Leslie Bryan Myers, (13 March, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Myers served in the Royal Naval Reserve in C.M.Bs. before he transferred to the Royal Navy on 23 March, 1918. He continued to work with the boats until being appointed to Colossus on 16 April, 1918.[1]

Myers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1921.[2]

Myers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1929.[3]

On 19 July, 1937 the Asdic dome of Sunfish was damaged in what a Court of Enquiry decided was an error of judgment on the part of Lt. Cdr. Myers. No disciplinary action was taken.

World War II

Myers was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 13 March, 1946.[4]
