Lieutenant Sidney Charles Cox, R.N., Retired (6 June, 1875 – 8 April, 1927) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Promoted to Acting Gunner on 16 April, 1902[1] and confirmed in the rank one year later.
Cox was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 041 on 27 March, 1913.[2]
Promoted to Chief Gunner on 16 April, 1917.[3]
Post-War
Cox was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Lieutenant upon his relief, which occurred on 9 October, 1922.
Cox died of stomach cancer in April, 1927 at 3 Carlton Terrace, Warten Hill, Devonport.
