Captain (retired) George Latham Blacker Bennett, (17 May, 1853 – 7 April, 1925) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 28 December, 1877.

Bennett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1892.

Bennett was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain in October, 1902.

From 1915 onward in the Great War, Bennett assisted the Chief Censor before reverted to the Retired List on 17 October, 1917.
