Commander R.N.R. (retired) Henry Graham Thomson, R.D., R.N.R. (26 November, 1876 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Thomson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 18 October, 1909.[1]
At the start of the war, Thomson was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Otranto. On 13 October 1917 he was made the ship's first and gunnery officer. He remained in the vessel until 4 July, 1918, being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 18 October, 1917.[2]
Thomson commanded the commissioned escort vessel Lepanto from 21 August to 11 October, 1918.[3]
Demobilised on 10 March 1919, Thomson was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 26 November, 1921.[4]
He was removed from the Retired List on 26 January, 1948.[5]
