H.M. T.B. 72 was one of ten second-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 64 class.

Service

Upon her completion in 1881, she was one of three of her class sent to Devonport.[7]

T.B. 72 became one of the first of the second-class torpedo boats to be disposed of, being sold in 1898.[8]
