That question of the 32 point turn has been argued ever since the action. A week after Jutland Captain Strutt, who was then Navigator of the Lion came to see me and asked me whether I had made it a 32 point turn, as he had done so, but the Admiral would not allow it, and made Chalmers his assistant (N) alter it on Lion's track. Both Strutt and Chalmers agreed with me that it was 32 points, but the Admiral has consistently refused to allow this.
