The twelve second-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 1 Class were built by J. S. White between 1883 and 1888.[1] They should not be confused with either the first-class torpedo boats of 1876 or the numeric designation of the Cricket class coastal destroyers of 1906, though both had vessels dubbed T.B. 1 et seq within their series.
