Colonel SIR Philip Watts, K.C.B., L.L.D., D.Sc., F.R.S. (30 May, 1846 – 15 March, 1926) was a naval architect, Royal Garrison Artillery officer and Director of Naval Construction in the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

On the occasion of the King's birthday, Watts was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Civil Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 30 June, 1905.[1]
