Admiral Cole Cortlandt Fowler, C.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (12 April, 1866 – 9 February, 1934) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Fowler was promoted to Captain on 30 June, 1907.

He was appointed to command the armoured cruiser Roxburgh in September 1911, remaining with her until early 1914.[1]

He was appointed to command the battleship Collingwood on 20 March, 1917.[2]

On 23 April, 1919, he was appointed Rear-Admiral Commanding the Portsmouth Reserve.[3]

Fowler was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 31 July, 1924,[4] and advanced to Admiral on the Retired List on 22 February, 1928.[5]
