Rear-Admiral Henry Priaulx Cayley (29 December, 1877 – 31 December, 1942) was an officer in the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Clifton (or Bristol), England.
Cayley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1899.[1] Cayley was appointed Lieutenant (G) of the battleship Hannibal on 30 May, 1908.[2]
He transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1912.
Cayley was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 April, 1919.[3]
Cayley was appointed in command of the light cruiser Sydney on 1 August, 1919.[4]
Cayley retired in 7 August, 1931.
