Captain (retired) Frederick Thomas de Mallet Morgan, C.B.E., R.N. (20 August, 1889 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Gibraltar, the son of Colonel F. C. Morgan.

Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October, 1910.

Morgan was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 1 on 29 July, 1914.[1]

On 15 February, 1916, he was reported to be suffering from appendicitis.

Morgan was retired as medically unfit on 7 March, 1917. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 30 October, 1918.

Post-War

Morgan was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 20 August, 1929.

Morgan was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 2 March, 1935.
