Rear-Admiral Hector Brabazon Stewart, R.N. (Retired) (13 December, 1841 – 28 October, 1922)[1] served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Stewart was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 8 April, 1863.
Stewart was promoted to the rank of Commander on 23 March, 1872.
Stewart was promoted to the rank of Captain on 23 June, 1880.
Retired at his own request on 8 January, 1892, Stewart was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 9 March, 1895.
"While opportunities for special distinction were denied him, he had the reputation of being a talented officer and a fine seaman."[2]
