Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) Edward Percy Lyndon, R.D., R.N.R. (17 September, 1881 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Lyndon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915. In 1916, he was brought to notice for his good service in the Adriatic. His Service Record contains unusual correspondence regarding where he is supposed to be serving. In September 1915, he was to be made captain of a ship named Folkestone, but I cannot identify this vessel. No one appears certain what to do about him.[1]

Lyndon was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 January, 1922 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923. He was removed from the Retired List at his own request on 15 February, 1939.[2]
