Captain (retired) Philip Lloyd Neville, C.V.O. (7 October, 1888 – 23 August, 1976) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Captain George Neville, R.N. was born in Malvern Wells.[1]

Neville was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1911.[2]

Neville was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1919.[3]

Neville was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1924.[4]

Neville was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 9 October, 1935.[5]

World War II

Reverted to the Retired List on 1 December, 1944.[6]
