Admiral Henry Rushworth Wratislaw, C.B., Royal Navy (29 August, 1832 – 26 July, 1913) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Mate on 23 October, 1852.[1]
Wratislaw was promoted to the rank of Commander on 22 March, 1858.[2] On 25 July, 1864 he was promoted to the rank of Captain[3] at the early age of thirty-one. He was appointed to commission the Northumberland on 30 October, 1879.[4]
Wratislaw was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 31 December, 1880.[5] Wratislaw was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 15 July, 1887.[6] In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 22 February, 1870, he was placed on the Retired List on 29 January, 1891,[7] and was promoted to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 25 July, 1892.[8]
