Commander (retired) Richard Knight Philpott (27 August, 1882 – 21 March, 1944) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Maceio, Brazil the son of a merchant.
Philpott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September 1904.
Philpott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1912.
Post-War
Retired at his own request on 26 April, 1920.
Philpott was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 27 August, 1922.
