Vice-Admiral SIR Peter Grenville Lyon Cazalet, D.S.C., D.S.O.*, C.B., K.B.E. (29 July, 1899 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1921.

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1929.

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1934.

World War II

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1941.

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 July, 1950.

Cazalet was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 October, 1953.

Retired 10 January, 1957.
