Captain (retired) Reynell John Fortescue, (21 June, 1845 – 24 April, 1926) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Fortescue was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in August, 1868.
Fortescue was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1881.
Fortescue was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 26 June, 1893.
He died at Nutcombe, Torquay.
