Hermann Bauer (22 July, 1875 – 11 February, 1958) was an officer in the Imperial German Navy.

Life & Career

Between November 1913 and March 1914 Bauer commanded the light cruiser Hamburg.

He was appointed in command of the battleship Westfalen from 24/7/1917 - 5/8/1918.[1]

He was appointed in command of the battleship Kaiser from 6/8/1918 - 5/11/1918.[2]

He was appointed in command of the battleship Oldenburg.[3]

He was appointed in command of the battleship Nassau from 11/11/1918 - 20/12/1918.[4]
