H.M.S. Trident was one of four destroyers of the Talisman class.
Service
Upon her completion in April, 1916, Trident was assigned to the Tenth Destroyer Flotilla, which was part of the Harwich Force. However, after just about one month here, she moved to join her sister Talisman in supporting the Eleventh Submarine Flotilla.
In late 1917 she joined the Thirteenth Submarine Flotilla temporarily, and before the year ended she was with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla, which was part of the Dover Patrol.
Trident was reduced to a C. & M. Party on 1 March, 1920.[6]
