Commissioned at Newcastle-on-Tyne on 22 March, 1929.[5]
She commissioned at Hong Kong on 19 October, 1931 for service on the China Station.[6]
She commissioned at Hong Kong on 14 October, 1936 for service on the China Station.[7]
