Vice-Admiral Henry Harvey Boys, Royal Navy, Retired (25 October, 1839 – 1914) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 4 April, 1870.[1]
Boys was promoted to the rank of Captain on 29 January, 1880.[2]
In accordance with the provisions of the Orders in Council of 22 February, 1870 and 24 March, 1880, he was placed on the Retired List on 25 October, 1894.[3] He was advanced to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1895,[4] and to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 17 March, 1901.[5]
