Leading Signalman Charles Farmer (3 February, 1893 – ?) was one of the only three survivors of H.M.S. Indefatigable when that ship sank at the Battle of Jutland in 1916.

Life & Career

Appointed to Indefatigable as an Ordinary Signalman on 25 January, 1913, he was promoted to Leading Signalman on 1 April, 1915..

Charles Farmer was a signaller numbered J8713.

Farmer returned to naval service after being repatriated, but was invalided on 5 November 1919 with astigmatism.
