Rear-Admiral Richard Strode Hewlett ( – ) served in the Royal Navy. I am not sure I have found his date of birth.

Life & Career

Hewlett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 23 September, 1845.[1]

Hewlett was promoted to the rank of Captain on 15 January, 1850.[2]

Hewlett was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 6 April, 1866.[3]

The October 1871 Navy List shows him as a retired Rear-Admiral, but does not show a date.[4]
