Aylmer Newton George Firebrace ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Firebrace was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1906.[1]
He was appointed to Indomitable as her Lieutenant (G) on 14 March, 1912.[2]
Firebrace was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July, 1914.[3]
Firebrace was appointed to Centurion to serve as her gunnery officer on 30 July, 1914.[4]
Firebrace was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1917. Retired, in mid 1920, he was at Chatham Royal Naval Barracks, leading a group of about 50 volunteer cadets.[5]
