Captain Emile Frank Verlaine Dechaineux, (3 October, 1902 – 21 October, 1944) served in the Royal Australian Navy.

Life & Career

Dechaineux was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1937.[1]

He was killed in a kamikaze attack on H.M.A.S. Australia on 21 October, 1944.[2]
