George Plunkett England ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

England was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1910.[1]

Commander England was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 99 on 10 October, 1912.[2]

England was appointed in command of the destroyer Laurel on 30 August, 1914.[3]

In January, 1919, he was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Amphitrite.[4]

On 28 February, 1919, England was appointed in command of the heavy cruiser London.[5]

In September, 1921, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Birmingham.[6]
