Vice-Admiral SIR Maurice Swynfen FitzMaurice, K.C.V.O., C.B., C.M.G., Royal Navy (12 August, 1870 – 23 January, 1927) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

On 31 December, 1902 he was promoted to the rank of Commander.[1]

FitzMaurice was appointed Assistant Director of Naval Intelligence on 9 November, 1910.[2] He was reappointed as Assistant Director of the Intelligence Division on the formation of the Admiralty War Staff in January, 1912.[3]

FitzMaurice died at Simonstown on 23 January, 1927.[4]
