Admiral Henry Harwood Harwood, K.C.B., O.B.E. (19 January, 1888 – 9 June, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.

He would earn fame in the Second World War, commanding heavy cruiser H.M.S. Exeter in the Battle of the River Plate.

Life & Career

Harwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1908.[1]
