H.M. T.B. 6 was one of 12 second-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 1 class.

Service

During a trial at Portsmouth of "a new pattern screw" on 5 April, 1883 one or more of T.B. 6's boiler tubes burst under pressure. Steam escaping through the furnace scalded several members of her crew, one "rather seriously" according to The Times.[3]
