Raymond Frederick Jay

Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Raymond Frederick Jay, (5 December, 1875 – 1 November, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jay was confirmed in the rank of Gunner on 25 May, 1904.[1]

Jay was confirmed in the rank of Gunner on 20 June, 1917.[2]

Jay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.[3]

Placed on the Retired List on account of age on 5 December, 1925, Jay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 12 August, 1930.[4]
