Maurice James Mansergh
Admiral SIR Maurice James Mansergh, K.C.B., C.B.E. (14 October, 1896 – 29 September, 1966) served in the Royal Navy.
His younger brother was Vice Admiral Sir Cecil Aubrey Lawson Mansergh.
Life & Career
The son of Ernest L. Mansergh, Esq., a civil engineer.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October, 1917.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 October, 1925.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1930.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1937.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 July, 1946.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 30 September, 1949.
Mansergh was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 18 March, 1953.
Mansergh was placed on the Retired List on 30 March, 1954.
