John Malby Bergin Hanly

Lieutenant John Malby Bergin Hanly, R.N. (13 May, 1888 – 31 May, 1916) served in the Royal Navy and died in Queen Mary at the Battle of Jutland.

Life & Career

Hanly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1910 and appointed to the battlecruiser Queen Mary on 30 August, 1913. He would die in the ship when she blew up at the Battle of Jutland.[1]
