Temporary {{LieutRNR}{} Herbert James Beverley, D.S.O., D.S.C., R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve in both world wars.

Life & Career

In April 1916, Beverley received instruction in the Modified Sweep and then was appointed to the yacht Zara. On 20 July he was appointed to the yacht Jeannette II.[1]

Beverley was promoted to the rank of Temporary Acting Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 May, 1917.[2]

He was demobilised on 26 February, 1920.[3]

World War II

Beverley was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 13 March, 1940.[4]
