H.M.S. Perseus was one of eleven Pelorus class cruisers completed for the Royal Navy between 1898 and 1901.
Service
Recommissioned at Bombay on 19 December, 1911 for service in the East Indies. In July, 1913, she was ordered to Malta for a refit,[6] visiting Aden on 29 July and proceeding onward two days later.[7]
